About me

Hello, I’m Natalie

I’m an architectural illustrator based in East Sussex, creating hand‑drawn and hand-painted detailed illustrations of the places that hold meaning; homes, wedding venues, pubs, shops and iconic buildings.

I work in fineliner and watercolour, focusing on warmth, detail and character.

My style

Warm, detailed and personal.

I love the small things; the textures, the shadows, the little details that make a place feel alive. Bricks are my favourite things to draw, and I spend a long time getting them just right. Every illustration is created slowly and intentionally, with care for the details that matter most.

Whether it’s a new home, a wedding gift, or a place filled with memories, I create artwork that tells a part of someone’s story.

Why I Love What I Do

Every place has a story.

I feel incredibly lucky to create artwork that becomes part of someone’s memories; a wedding gift, a new home celebration, or a reminder of somewhere special. Knowing that my illustrations are treasured and displayed in people’s homes is the best part of what I do.

Materials I use

Each illustration is created using archival, artist‑grade materials chosen for their reliability, longevity and the way they support my architectural style.

Watercolour
I mainly use Sennelier and Daniel Smith paints for their rich, lightfast colours.

Brushes
I use Princeton brushes for their precision and quality.

Paper
I work on Arches 100% cotton cold‑pressed paper for watercolour, and heavy white cartridge paper for fineliner illustrations.

Pen
I use a fountain pen with archival black ink, along with Uni Pin fineliners.
