Custom Watercolour & Ink Architectural Illustrations

Would you like to turn a special building into a hand-painted artwork? I take on a limited number of commissions throughout the year. Each piece is unique, made to order, and tailored to your vision.

Commissions open and close depending on my availability—if they’re open (see the bottom of this page for availability), there will be a link here to discuss your project. If they are closed, please enter your email address via the link at the bottom of this page to be added to my waiting list. 

How It Works

1. Get in Touch

Send me a message through my enquiry form with:

Clear photos of the building

Address or location (if available)

Preferred size (A5, A4, A3, or custom)

Medium (watercolour or fineliner)

Any extra details you’d like included (trees, plants etc. - I cannot add people or pets though as it's not my specialty)

I’ll reply within a few days to confirm details and provide a quote.

2. Pricing 

Every commission is different, so prices are quoted individually.

The final price depends on:

Size (A5, A4, A3, or larger)

Level of detail in the architecture (e.g. ornate windows, brickwork, landscaping)

Medium (watercolour or fineliner)

Extras (scenery, perspective)

Example starting prices:

Houses/Businesses

From £110 for A5 Fineliner; From £150 for A5 Watercolour

From £150 for A4 Fineliner; From £200 for A4 Watercolour

From £240 for A3 Fineliner; From £280 for A3 Watercolour

Wedding Venues/Large Buildings

From £200 for A4 Fineliner; From £250 for A4 Watercolour

From £280 for A3 Fineliner; From £350 for A3 Watercolour

These are guide prices only; your quote may be higher depending on complexity. Custom quotes can be provided for multiple illustrations, multiple buildings in one illustration or larger sizes. Shipping is tracked and free within the UK, and the shipping cost has been included in the price for US/ROI customers. 

3. Approval & Sketch

Once we’ve agreed on the details, I’ll provide a rough sketch or draft via email for your review. At this stage, small adjustments can be made before I begin the final piece.

4. Creation & Delivery

Your artwork will be created on archival-quality paper with professional paints and inks. 

Typical turnaround is 2-3 weeks, depending on the size/complexity, but let me know if you need it by a particular date.

Your artwork is beautifully wrapped and shipped securely via Royal Mail Tracked 24, free of charge.

Framing is not included.
